Begin with fewer capsules and increase gradually asneeded, or as directed by your qualified health consultant. Fiberproducts must be taken with adequate water.
Fiber Perfect™ is a patented combination of natural dietary fibers, green algae, botanicals, organic acids and the cell walls of beneficial bacteria.
Fiber Perfect™ increases stool bulk, the growth of beneficial intestinal microflora and promotes normal bowel function.
• Fibers – Psyllium, Inulin-FOS, and beet fiber promote normal bowel function and help friendly bacterial growth.
• Chlorella & Botanicals – Yaeyama chlorella, fennel seed, rhubarb root, dandelion, ginger root, slippery elm bark and peppermint leaves promote regular bowel function and soothe the digestive tract.
• Metabolin™ – Beneficial metabolites and cell walls of lactic and propionic acid producing bacteria. These beneficial bacteria by products help balance intestinal microflora, which may reduce the accumulation of toxins produced by putrefactive bacteria, and the production of gas.
NOTICE: This product contains rhubarb. Read and follow directions carefully. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain. Consult your health professional if you have frequent diarrhea. If you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication or have a medical condition, consult your health professional before using this product.

In the 1970s, Dr. Denis Burkitt commented on the rarity of colorectal cancer and other diseases such as diverticular disease, gall bladder disease, varicose veins, and hemorrhoids in Africa. He hypothesized that the high fiber diet consumed by Africans prevented the development of these diseases, and proposed reasonable pathophysiological mechanisms whereby dietary fiber might be protective. Some of the ways in which dietary fiber might prevent colon cancer include:
(1) Diluting or absorbing fecal carcinogens.
(2) Reducing colonic transit time, thereby decreasing the amount of time that carcinogens are in contact with colonic tissue.
(3) Reducing the conversion by bile acids to carcinogenic metabolites.
(4) Reducing colonic pH.
(5) Increasing the production of protective short-chain fatty acids such as butyrates. In addition, fiber also has beneficial effects in lowering blood sugar, cholesterol and constipation.
Fibers
The perfect blend of psyllium, inulin-FOS and beet fiber promotes normal bowel function, supports the growth of “friendly” bacteria, and helps to suppress the growth of harmful bacteria. These fiber sources
include soluble and insoluble fibers. Soluble fibers help to reduce cholesterol levels by increasing its excretion, while insoluble fibers help decrease gastric transit time, increase fecal weight, and absorb toxins.
Chlorella and Botanicals
To sooth the digestive tract, encourage regularity and facilitate detoxification. Fiber Perfect includes Chlorella yaeyama, fennel seed, rhubarb root, slippery elm bark, ginger root, peppermint leaves and dandelion. In particular, chlorella chelates heavy metals and provides vital nutrients; fennel and rhubarb increase peristalsis in the intestines; ginger is well known for its antinauseant properties; and dandelion root is a known bile secretory stimulant.
Metabolites
An effective way to inhibit yeast and putrefactive bacterial growth and to reduce the accumulation of toxins in the intestines is to make use of nature’s own control mechanisms. These include the beneficial metabolites and cell walls of bacteria that supply lactic and propionic acids along with natural antibiotic-like bacteriocins and peptides.
